August Favourites

Each month I want to take the time to reflect on three things I’ve enjoyed – I find that reflection makes me appreciate things a lot more.

Fruit picking. I am lucky enough to live right near a fruit picking farm, and as it is getting near to the end of berry season my boyfriend and I went to make the most of the strawberries and raspberries. We were really lucky with the weather and got some amazing last minute treats for me and the bunnies to eat.

Holidays. This month I have booked my holiday to Japan next year and started booking Thailand! 2020 is going to be a year of adventures for me and I can’t wait.

Bullet Journal. I have been wanting to start a bullet journal for a long time but I knew I wouldn’t keep it up unless it had a purpose. I’ve decided now to dedicate one to my recovery, so I started the very beginnings of it earlier this week and I’m hoping that once I’ve had my assessment with the eating disorders team next week, I’ll know a littl bit more about how this journey is going to go.

Stay tuned for next months picks!

  1. Ooh looks like you are having fun this month! That strawberry looks delicious 💜 have fun in Japan and Thailand, I’ve always wanted to go to Japan! It looks like such a cool place to travel too and I’m always in the mood for sushi!

  2. I’ve been meaning to start a bullet journal for the longest time! I think the idea of it ‘having’ to be pretty is putting me off, as I’m not particularly artistic and am a bit of a perfectionist. I have to remember it doesn’t have to be pretty by everyone’s standards – just a place for me to be able to write down my thoughts and feelings! Good luck with your eating disorder assessment. I was super nervous for mine, but there really was nothing to worry about. It will be fine lovely, so proud of you for reaching out for help x
