E X P L O R E ~ In 2016 I set off on my first solo adventure. Say yes to things that scare you. I travelled to the Philippines alone, having never really left Europe before. 3 planes and 30+ hours later, I arrived in a part of the world I’d never explored. I worked for a month in a hospital in conditions I’d never wish on anybody, but with the kindest souls I’ve ever met. South East Asia is now my favourite place in the world. I hope to keep exploring it as much as I possibly can. Travel, especially solo travel, is an experience I would recommend to anyone and I will always consider this one of my proudest achievements and something that helped me into who I am today. In just 11 days, I head off on my own again back to that country that took my heart, and I can’t wait. P A R I S ~ I am so devastated to see what’s happening to Notre Dame. It’s one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever seen and I have such fond memories of walking around it in the sun with my boyfriend just before I started my first nursing post - it was my treat to myself after graduating! I hope they manage to restore some of it. So many years of history have just gone up in smoke.
